From the Camera of Rich Scheid

In volume 8 of Tracks of the old Santa Fe, professional Green Frog photographer Rich Scheid takes us where we left off in volume 7 at Cassoday Kansas.

We will visit railroad locations such as Ellinor KS., where the Raton line from Colorado meets the new mainline thru Texas, and New Mexico's Abo canyon. Then we will visit Emporia Kansas, and go through the many towns and thru the heartland of the U.S. on the Tracks of the old Santa Fe.

We will head thru Kansas to Kansas City. We visit Kansas City Union Station and watch trains coming thru and past the old Depot as well as a visit inside the old Depot. We then venture east across the Missouri River and the great steel truss bridge crossing the Missouri River at Sibley, KS., we continue through towns across Missouri to just west of Fort Madison Iowa.

We will see many Santa Fe war bonnets as well as many fallen flags, and a huge assortment of power coming through the many towns along the way to Iowa. Lots of close up action in this nonstop railroad video.
