Railroads of Western Pennsylvania Fall 1998
Travel with Neff Video and videographer Bob Sechler as they view the railroads of Western Pennsylvania during the autumn of 1998.
You'll visit Sand Patch Grade on both east & west slopes-view the stunning fall colors on the ex-Monongahela (MGA), and travel Conrail's (soon to be N5) line from Pittsburgh to the West Slope.
Steam fans, you aren't forgotten! We explore the Laurel Highlands RR and engine #7 on a trip from Scottsdale to Youngwood.
In addition to CSX, Amtrak, Conrail, W&LE, and SW Penna. RR - foreign power from WC, UP, NS, SOO, CN, and the Loram rail grinder make an appearance in manifest, auto-rack, unit and stack trains.
As usual, you will see many vistas, bridges, and rivers during our fast-paced program with motive power from GP-9's to Conrail's newest SD-70 MAC's.
Some locations visited are Ardaro, W. Brownsville, Wampum, Pittsburgh, Garrett, Meyersdale, Monongahela, Loyalhanna, Connellsville, Rockwood, Clarksville, Ohio Pyle, and many more.
