This is part-1 of a 2009 Autumn Midwestern Motive Power Odyssey. We get locomotives of CSX, NS, CP, BNSF, Metra, and Amtrak at a variety of locations in the Midwest. We catch action at Berea, Oh., Elkhart, In., Otis Hill in Indiana, and Metra/BNSF action at the Chicago area locations of La Grange, Western Springs, Highlands, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Westmont, and the Downers Grove area.
We see a variety of locomotives, some of which are no longer in service. This program was shot during the early days of the GEVO locomotives and many are seen. The Autumn colors add spice to the scenes. Shot in October 2009.
