We ventured to northwestern 0hio to visit several locations where there are diamonds. In a single day we travel to places in close proximity to enjoy a variety of locations and train action. First we visit Tower F in Fostoria, then we move east to Attica Junction, before heading back to Fostoria depot where CSX and NS cross west of Tower F.
Next we head west to Deshler where the busy east-west former B&O line crosses and connects with the Cincinnati to Toledo line. Later we head a few miles south of Deshler to Leipsic Junction where NS crosses CSX at an old Tower. Then it’s back to Deshler to end our long day of shooting Ohio Rail Diamonds in April 2006.
While CSX and Norfolk Southern power dominate, we also see lots of leased power, as well as a variety of other road names. We have also added in some previous footage showing a busy morning at Deshler in September 2005! plus a 1991 visit to Leipsic and Lima where we see vintage diesel power and some surprise visitors.
You will see modern power in 2005 and 2006, as well as some older power in 1991. The 2006 videography is widescreen format, while the other older segments are not. Stereo audio, professionally edited. Narration and live train sounds.
